Great tool at a great price.

I have no complaints at all about this scanner. It seems capable of doing everything except reprogramming, which I wouldn't expect at this price point. It does everything other scanners do and also works on almost every vehicle that has an OBD2 system installed. It doesn't have touch controls, but costs about half as much as very similar touchscreen scanners. That's all I need and more than that since I'm not a mechanic. If it has a downside, I haven't found it yet and have tried it on every machine I've worked with since I got it. So far it has worked with all brands and models I've tried. My Kia Soul lacks many of the options it offers when hooked up to a Chevy or Ford, which to me is a little disappointing. This is the fault of the vehicle manufacturer and nothing of the sort happened during scanning. What impressed me is that it can read still image data and display up to two streams in real time. Pretty handy little tool for sure. The free updates are just as great as the other tools. I had either only one update or free updates only for a limited time. I had one of these problems. So far, so good. Yes, there are now Bluetooth dongles that are almost identical in capabilities and at a much lower price, but they require an app to use and I have yet to fund a reliable one. I find that a standalone scanner has advantages over one connected via a phone app. It's not often that I need a full-featured scanner, but I don't need the cheapest option when I need one. I'm sure it will cover me. For what I paid I'm definitely happy with it.
