I wasn't sure what to expect when I placed the order. I live in a very dry climate and usually walk around the house barefoot. As you can imagine, my feet dry and crack and then hurt. My new son-in-law wears slippers all the time and my daughter says he has soft feet. sooo I searched and searched for something that wasn't "slippers" but gave me the feeling of being barefoot. THIS ONE! Small rubberized "Nufoot" logos on the outsole also prevent slipping on tiles or wood. The neoprene blend actually adds warmth and protects your toy from the cold floor. The BEST thing about this type of ballet slippers? They can be used as an invisible sock. One day I had to run to the grocery store quickly and instead of finding low socks for my Skechers I just put them on and put my shoes on. THESE DID NOT slip under my heel. All other socks I've tried (even the $20 ones) slip off when walking. IT DID NOT HAPPEN! They were invisible, comfortable and held on the leg. In fact, they worked so well that I will be ordering more ballet style ones to have for my shoes. I can't rave enough! LOVE THESE!
