Review on 🐱 Nutritional Delights: Unveiling the 9Lives Dry Cat Food Range by Cheryl Brown

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I like the extra protein but the ingredients are not high quality.

We buy dry food for cats with a sensitive stomach because our cat vomits a lot. He's not sick, he's only sick after eating unless we're very careful about what we feed him. I was a little nervous about purchasing this food as it is a variety and can cause a flying litter of semi-digested food which my cat seems to enjoy. I wanted some variety and the price of this Protein Plus meal is so cheap I couldn't resist. The ingredients are not very good. The first is corn and the third ingredient is soy flour and then some more corn. Definitely not high quality food. I wasn't aware of this when I bought it because I was obsessed that it contained extra protein that my cat could benefit from. I don't know where it came from as meat seems to be secondary in this meal. He seems to be enjoying it so much that he's only thrown up twice in a couple of weeks. It can't even be from this food. Anything he eats can cause this, and he will eat wet food and treats along with pellets. My cat is almost 11 years old and loves that I'm giving her extra protein as she ages, but I don't like that the ingredients are mostly fillers. I'll go back to the Purina One we bought and toss a handful or two of that food into its large bowl for variety and protein. I definitely won't skip it completely, although my cat wouldn't mind. He eats it without thinking.
