I have an old board with SATAII, for this reason I managed to reveal the potential of the solid state only by 60%, (287 mb / s - almost the ceiling for sataII). But, there is a result: the system began to boot in 8 seconds, instead of 5-6 minutes. Applications started launching instantly. 4K video in the browser looks without jerks and delays. In short, heaven and earth. If it fails, I will take the same one (I don’t understand how I used to live on HDD). But, I disabled automatic defragmentation on this disk; reinstalled the system, not cloned it; the paging file is placed on the HDD (there is no difference in speed, but the disk is better). Downloads from the browser also threw on the HDD. The temperature of a solid state drive is slightly higher than that of the same hard drive: 34-38 degrees for a solid state, and 31-36 degrees for hdd. In short, I put it in a PC, not a laptop in a sled, and I always have blown fans in front of hard ones. It seems that because of the case - the cooling of the disk is rather poor, but I did everything I could. Yes, by the way, out of the declared 250 GB, there are only 238. But, this is through my eyes too. Let's see how it works.
