I need an adapter so I can use my old USB 3 flash drives with my Samsung 9+ USB C phone. For some reason I'm also having trouble with the USB C sticks in my phone but they work when I use the USB 3/3.1 end. They worked and then didn't work, so I'm guessing an update broke the ability to use those particular USB sticks. Tried reformatting, didn't help. I wanted something that wasn't cable based. I connected several different USB drives to the adapter, it could see the files, so this adapter works for me. The price is like for 2 adapters and both worked. It also says it's USB 3.1 and many adapters use USB 3, which is a bit slower. As they have only just been received I am not sure of the durability but will update this review if there are any issues. I'm happy with that. I just put them in my electronics case so I don't lose them.
