Review on 🎮 Punkston TH61 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, RGB Backlit Ultra-Compact Mini Mechanical Keyboard, Full Keys Programmable - Black (Optical Black Switch) by Damian Grotting

I bought this keyboard for two main reasons. 1.) I wanted a quieter keyboard so as not to disturb people in the immediate vicinity. 2.) I wanted to try a 60% keyboard as I used to only use a full size keyboard. I went with the quietest keys, which are the complete opposite of the keyboard I had before. The keycaps are nice and solid (don't feel flimsy/cheap), and the switches themselves are very smooth. The key feels smooth and linear throughout its travel, not getting lighter or heavier the more times you press the key. Next comes size. This keyboard is so much smaller than my Razer BlackWidow Elite that it felt odd for the first day or two of use. Although after a day or two I got used to the size difference. I once had an issue with a smaller keyboard that could slip. That wasn't the case with me. It weighs well for its size. It's far from heavy, but weighs enough to stay on your desk. More software for the keyboard. Personally, I don't really care about lighting effects, but I will say that the program is pretty good. It's as easy to use as some of the major keyboard manufacturers' software. As for both of my "goals", I'd say it accomplishes both quite well. The red switches are much quieter than my Razer green switches and are a great option for a 60% efficient keyboard that's economical. However, since the keys are pushed all the way down when typing, it still makes a decent noise when running at full speed. However, some o-rings will likely reduce this significantly. Absolutely outstanding value for money. I have had no problem and use it more than 7 hours a day. Overall I think this keyboard easily deserves a 5 out of 5.
