I have a very expensive silicone square casserole dish that I love. I bought it. As soon as I opened it I wasn't sure. Feels different than the expensive one. Expensive looks almost greasy or slippery. It's not like this. Nothing sticks to my darling. In this form for muffins I have prepared egg muffins. Basically it's egg whites, spinach, salsa, baked. Few calories. They got stuck in the pan, I was able to pull them out with a knife, but they left tons of eggs that were very difficult to get out. Then I tried regular cornbread muffins in this pan. Same, they left a lot of cupcakes and I really had to clean them out. Finally, I cooked both of the above recipes in an expensive silicone pan and nothing stuck, they popped right out. Again, they have a very different feel, this blue cupcake pan isn't slippery, it has a porous feel so something will stick to it. Save money and buy expensive silicone. In my testing, the good things are VERY different.
