I was going to spend triple the price on a similar Patagonia jacket for my kid but I was like, 'Uh no, that's too much money for what they get in a year will grow. It doesn't matter that I can afford it, but why not get something of equal value for only a third of the price!?! I chose the purple pink blue jacket for my daughter and it keeps her just as warm as the Patagonia jacket. I used to have Patagonia jackets for my kids that they've outgrown so I can tell the difference. The quality of this jacket is also excellent. I'll be buying this jacket for my kids every season until they stop growing so much, then I'll go ahead and splurge on a big brand. Meanwhile, save big money and buy this jacket for your growing kids. It is just as good as the branded version.
