These shoes differ from the original Camel Crown. Athletic shoes that I got about two years ago. The originals are naturally wider and immediately feel like they've been chopped. These new shoes are narrower (not Nike tight, but narrower than the original). These new shoes don't want to shrink. I've had them for at least a month or more and they continue to chew on my Achilles area very regularly. Whether I'm wearing socks or not, these shoes don't forgive my heels. I'm not sure why my Achilles tendons are beating. However, the shoes support my feet, my arches, and leave no blisters or other injuries other than my Achilles tendon. If you have sensitive Achilles tendons like I do, you can ditch these shoes and find shoes that are more forgiving of your feet.
