Review on Speedball SB3162 16 Ounce Pen Cleaner by Morgan Gilmore

I have quite a large collection of fountain pens. I love writing with everyone and changing pens and ink regularly. The problem is always how to clean them. I use a water rinse to start and that usually helps. If the ink sits for a while or has a permanent color, I have a small ultrasonic reservoir. But sometimes even that doesn't work. So I ordered a bottle of this product. There are three main benefits of using this pen cleaning solution: 1. It works! I soak the pen and reservoir for 20-30 minutes, rinse and then repeat. That works every time. I usually use a small jar for this. I didn't even have to put it in an ultrasonic cleaner it's that good. The ink is removed and the metal looks fine.2. The product is non-toxic! This is a great advantage as I don't worry about storing the liquid, worry about pets or children getting inside, etc. The liquid is colorless and odorless.3. Small things have a big impact. I cleaned about a dozen feathers and used about 10% of the bottle. I plan to order another bottle when this runs out.
