Review on Sennheiser HD 206 Closed-Back Over Ear Headphones - Discontinued Model by Aneta Smoliska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

(A discussion over the Sennheiser HD 180/206 headphones) The Sennheiser HD 180/206 are excellent choices for those looking for their first pair of affordable surround headphones. Over the past 5 years, I have made use of them in my own home. Throughout this time, the headphones have undergone the following transformations: > the plug failed, and there was no sound (I had to solder a new one); > the leather split and peeled off completely (with my assistance), and > the entire headband was made of leather. Zam: first on the ear pads, then on the bow (there was a fabric base); >double wire split into two wires; >the insulation of the wire became stiff, fractures appeared in many places: first at the exit of the cups, then later along the entire wire, the wire began to crumble; >at the end one of the speakers passed away - the headphones have served their time; the headphones have reached the end of their useful lifespan. In general, if you take care to handle your Sennheiser HD 180/206 headphones, they should remain problem-free for approximately two years. After this period of time, however, they will begin to gradually lose their former functionality and presentation.

Pros
  • a low price ($750 in 2022-2022), covering semi-open headphones, the Sennheiser name, robust construction, flexible fit adjustment, soft ear pads and headband, and a long cable are all advantages of these headphones.
Cons
  • -The contents of two separate cups. - Flimsy non-separable plug. -Leather replacement\s- Slim twin cable. -An insufficient amount of soundproofing.
