I have this to use in the car to connect my phone to Android Auto. I couldn't get it to work with the data. It's charging, but that's all. I had to connect the old cable. I tried it in my wife's car (not Android Auto) and it only charged there. No phone option. I wouldn't recommend them at all if all you do is charge. waste of money for me.
