You get what you pay for

This set is about as good as I expected for being so cheap. The parts are pretty small and the magnet is pretty weak but it kept my daughter entertained in the pool for a while. I love that it comes with a nice variety of shapes and two worms (magnets). The magnetic part in fish pieces is just a metal screw. I would not use this set with children under the age of 4 as there is too risk of the screws loosening and a child choking or injuring them.
