Review on 🍽️ NESCO FD-1040 Gardenmaster Digital Pro Dehydrator: The Ultimate Jerky and Snack Maker with 4 Trays by Alison Parker

I have now ordered two of these units to get a good one and both have had to be sent back. They are complete rubbish. Both units had stuck fans due to the heater assembly not being attached to the mounting posts. The first block sounds like a helicopter as the blades hit the heater assembly. In the second block, too, some of the heating elements burned out completely. What scares me the most is the quality of the design. The rope is literally used to hold the heating element section leading to the fuse! I have no idea how this can work for long without catching fire. I've heard that these devices are made in the USA, but the label on my device clearly states that it was made in China. I suspect this is another example where positive reviews reflect a previously great product that has now gone bad. I am returning all my accessories that I bought expecting to use this particular brand due to poor workmanship. I would be very cautious if I bought this unit in the last year or so! I am very grateful to Revain as they did a great job of taking care of me and accepting the return.
