At first I just bought it to indulge myself and probably return it after a few minutes of play. But I've found that this is way more than just looking cute, it's also incredibly cool! I bought this around February along with some thumb grips for good measure and by the way I ALWAYS get joystick sized grips. (I recommend Geekshare) if you want to try this controller. It's been almost 2 months since I picked up this controller and for me it's a game changer when it comes to switching games in the most convenient way. Not only can I play Animal Crossing, which is what this controller was designed for, but I can also play competitive games like Mario Kart and Smash Bros. Not only is this controller functional, it pretty much does everything a regular pro controller does, although it's not perfect , it still works. The only thing it doesn't have is NFC or places to use your amiibo. But if you don't like amiibo, or just aren't a fan of it, don't worry. Although I have some disadvantages when using it. But I have listed something for this controller as well as some comparisons with other controllers. ADVANTAGES: Cute and small, suitable for small to medium sized hands, great gift for little kids and adults with small hands. good (me too).- Whoever made this design and chose to not just connect the ears to the shoulder buttons, but bend them to hold the fingers in a way that makes the buttons appear larger, THANK YOU. I use the official Pro controller occasionally, and one of the issues I've had with the Pro is that the shoulder buttons are too small, even for a controller better suited for people with larger hands. it is charming but also very functional and comfortable. Which is a rare occurrence - Motion controls and rumble (not HD unfortunately) but really nothing to worry about - Has high quality plastics, while it sounds like an oxymoron it's actually enjoyable to play with. The last time I bought a third-party controller (a wired PowerA controller shaped like a Gamecube controller but with toggle buttons), the plastic felt shamelessly cheap and was just awkward to store, so I had to return it immediately because of it . If you want something with REALLY high quality material and want something that will last a while I believe this is the controller. CONS: - It CAN, and certainly WILL, occasionally drift, on rare occasions. , sometimes on the left and sometimes on the right analog stick, but that's only for a short time before it resets (I think), whenever this happens I usually use the calibration system and if it doesn't work I restart yours change it and it's like new. If you have big hands and want this controller, I'm sorry to say that this controller is surprisingly small. Smaller than I expected but perfect for my average hand. So I'm afraid it's not for you. If you don't buy thumb grips when you buy them with the controller and you have very smooth finger rests, you have a bit of a problem with analog sticks because while the edges are ribbed, the center feels almost friction-free and will definitely slip your thumbs off, though Don't pay attention, especially if you're playing something intense like Smash Bros or another fighting game. This can also be a bit of an issue because when you're in competitive games (Smash Bros, Mario Kart, ARMS, etc.) and press them hard they tend to slide off the analog sticks but don't come out. so be careful. This will probably be one of the smallest downsides, more like a pet nuisance, but the ears can also be a bit of a hassle, especially when trying to reach the minus button, I'd probably recommend swiping the L button so you can reach it but don't worry, your ears will be surprised. very durable for the small plastic parts that are also connected to the left and right buttons. Overall I recommend this controller, it's cute, comfortable, functional and perfect for little hands, a great gift for kids. It may not be perfect, but it's worth it. I hope this review is worth it.
