Ordered in January. He started making a loud noise like he was about to pick up. Even when the Xbox was off and even the hard drive was completely off. We had to unplug the power cord completely for it to stop. We were concerned it would overheat and melt, as other reviewers have suffered. We ordered it to replace the previous one that had the same problem. After looking through 2 generic power cords that appear to be sold by the same company we will be ordering directly from Microsoft. Don't waste money. Luckily Amazon gives us the money back. So we will use it to buy from Microsoft.
