durable matte finish.
Sturdy matte finish, good size for everyday hobby use. It says "Stainless Steel" but when I took it out I thought it was aluminum. Matte finish, very light. It didn't accept a magnet, but according to Google 304SS it "sometimes" retains color state. so I can't say either. (ps, in hindsight I think it's SS)
