My mother-in-law asked me to order these shoes for her. She has back, knee and foot problems and New Balance is her brand. Your podiatrist recommends changing shoes every six months. I bought her these 669 V2 hiking shoes and they fit well, have good support and she found them comfortable, but after a week of wearing them she developed rashes on both feet. Her podiatrist said the upper is heavy and therefore not very breathable, which irritated the skin and advised her to only wear the shoes in cold weather. Now I'm looking for another pair of New Balance shoes that are lighter and more breathable.
