Awesome belt ! and pleasant smell of good leather. Brown was just the right shade too. The belt is wide but fits well in the loops of my Lee Riders. Unfortunately I had to return my belt because it was too long and the next smaller size is not available .To help other buyers, here are some approximate measurements for a 40" belt. Leather thickness = approx. 5/16" There are 5 sets of holes approx. apart. Total length from buckle hinge to tip = 46". Length from buckle loop to first (shortest) hole set = 38". Length from buckle hinge bushings to 5th and last (longest) set of holes = 42". Length from first set of holes to tip of strap = 8". Length from last set of holes to tip = 4". A buckle would match a belt with a buckle 1 1/4" Add " to 1 1/2". So for the shortest holes, the buckle belt is about 39 to 39 1/2 inches long on the outside.
