Although this lathe is quite durable it is not as heat resistant as advertised. I've used this less than 10 times to fry eggs, fish or roasts and the coating around the edges has already come off. It seems to be melting. I rarely write bad reviews but I feel like the manufacturer really needs to change the description of this product because the main feature I wanted from them was heat resistance which led to durability. Unfortunately, this product doesn't seem to match it. Really disappointed.
