I am a loyal buyer of New Balance shoes for my fitness needs. I love the look of these shoes but I find them to be slightly smaller compared to other New Balance shoes of the same size. However, it's not so small that I needed the next size up. The laces have metal tips, which makes it uncomfortable when they swing back and forth and hit your foot. Since then I've started tucking the laces in to keep the laces from hitting me. The shoe sits slightly higher around the ankle than the average sneaker. This makes it a bit more difficult to work with a thinner hole and can rub against the bottom of your ankle if you have socks that sit under your shoes.
