I'm obsessed with everything rainbow. And I would say my wardrobe is about 85% black. So these bags are incredibly perfect for me. In low light it appears to be just a dark color, if I had to describe it it looks like dark green, dark gray, dark purple etc. When light hits it, it shows an iridescent beautiful variegated color. Good. Everything looks different in color from different angles, the colors are affected by the type of lighting and brightness; These bags are the coolest. I have this backpack and medium sized bag and will definitely be buying other size and style bags. I noticed that so many people complain about this type of bag in reviews that they are disappointed because it is not always colorful. We will, it shouldn't be, that's the point! Unless you are in total darkness you will see many colors throughout the day. To sum it up: I dig this backpack. It's great for everyday use, it's small and cute but not too small. And for its size, it has many compartments. It is comfortable to wear. You can wear it as a traditional backpack or, if you prefer, tie the shoulder straps in the middle. Sometimes I even hold it with one hand where the clasp is up. It's so versatile and so charming. What's not to LOVE!?
