Great little camera. A bit bulkier than a regular point-and-shoot, but the huge zoom lens is worth it. So far I've mostly used it with automatic settings and it does a great job on dynamic shots of my grandchildren and my dog frolicking in the water too. I tried zooming in at night without a tripod or flash and got a stunning shot of the moon with incredible detail. I held the camera firmly with both hands and no blur. Looking forward to getting some good fireworks shots this weekend. While the camera is more versatile for those who want to experiment with manual settings, it's not designed to replace much more expensive handheld cameras. The battery lasts quite a long time, but I also have a charged one ready to hand in case I need it. For what it is, this camera is definitely a winner.
