I used this product to sharpen wood chisels and planer knives. It works great for me. The chisels must be perfectly aligned before tightening the screw. If you do this you shouldn't have any problems. Not all bits will fit in the groove on the tool, but it will lock them up if you take the time to keep them straight. I like that the reel is ball bearing, any softer metal will wear out quickly. In fairness I think the description was clear what it was used for.
