I bought it in new condition but it was missing 2 screws, 4 washers and almost all the eyelets. Luckily I somehow managed to find extra screws of the same size which I kept "just in case" but never thought I'd end up using them. So I think that in the end everything was fine, although I didn't have any extra washers or hinges to properly reassemble this stool. It's the perfect height for my kitchen island and the seat is quite padded. But the leather is obviously not genuine, and if I didn't have kids I'd probably remake it in velvet with brass buttons around the perimeter.
