Delivered the next day after receiving my new iPad Mini. A new model so there weren't many cases available and no reviews for the ones that were. Took the plunge on this occasion and was pleased with what I got. Turning the screen on and off when closing and opening the lid works well. The case fits the iPad Gen 6 very well. No forced landing or slop from an ill-fitting case. The pen is inserted into the groove in the case and not only hangs on the magnet, but also charges perfectly. I press the stylus flat against the edge of the iPad. The housing closes the handle channel when the lid is closed. The lid is held closed by magnetization on the right edge. The magnet holds very well. The back is made of hard, translucent plastic with a slightly grainy grain. Beautiful appearance. The lid folds completely or converts into a triangular bracket to hold the iPad horizontally. Not very effective when lying in bed, but I'm sure it shouldn't be. But on hard surfaces it works great. The magnetized edge holds the cover triangle together. Two of my big questions remain unanswered at the moment. 1) Does this case protect my iPad from drop damage and 2) How many times can the case be opened and closed before the edge starts to tear? I'm still on my honeymoon with this iPad so I'm still gently tending to something I paid way too much money for and having dealt with it for a little over a week the longevity is unknown. Unless you're wondering if it will last longer than a week. In this case the answer is yes. It'll last over a week and protect the still lovingly managed iPad Mini (it's the perfect size iPad, btw. I'm saying it's had everything from the 1st gen to a 12.9-inch behemoth that's unimaginably unwieldy was. .)
