you might look at this icebreaker compared to a 200 merino merino and wonder what the big difference is compared to the price difference. I started with the 200g and bought the 175 because they were sold on Amazon. The difference between them is much larger than the numbering suggests. 200 g is significantly softer and thicker. Once you put it on, you never want to take it off. The 175g seems so cheap, flimsy and itchy that I'm wondering if the one I got is fake. Skip this one and invest in the 200g.
