I have an hour by train to get to work so I like to try to work on my computer on the go. I bought this lap table to try and position the keyboard at the best angle for my wrists and shoulders and to keep my laptop from overheating on my lap. I love that it has padding on the bottom - just enough so the plastic doesn't cut into my thighs, but thin enough to easily fit in my laptop backpack - and plenty of height adjustment. The lowest height might be a bit higher than I would like (hence my overall score of 4 not 5) but it's definitely better than being on your knees. I also like that this initial height adjustment allows me to run the power cord (which I almost always have to plug in on the train) through it so it doesn't get in the way of arriving passengers, rather than tucking it under my leg. like i did I've only had it for a few weeks but so far it seems to be quite durable and from the way it's performing I don't see any real durability issue. You would have to abuse it pretty badly for it to break.
