This is by far my favorite kitchen gadget. I love pineapples, but cutting them is a pain. It usually takes me 10-15 minutes to cut a pineapple by hand. It takes forever and there's a lot of waste because I want to make sure there's no kernel in what I'm eating. This device saves you from cutting the pineapple. What you do: Cut off the top and bottom of the pineapple to leave a flat surface. Firmly press the base of the pineapple kernel against the top of the pineapple and start turning the orange knob clockwise. When you reach the bottom of the pineapple, simply lift the handle. I'm a petite woman and was concerned that removing the stoner would be cumbersome, but it was as easy as just raising my hand; not stressful at all. Once you've removed the pole, press the orange buttons on top and it unleashes all the pineapple goodness. The best part is that the core stays in the center, so no extra steps are required to remove it from the part of the pineapple you want to eat. can be found in a trendy supermarket. I really can't express how impressed I am with this gadget. It's easy to use, easy to clean due to the stainless steel, and feels very durable, not fragile or cheap at all. This is a device that will be used repeatedly and looks like it will last a long time!
