Purchased 07/03/2019 - received 07/06/2019: iPhone 8 fits perfectly in the case, does not slip out. There is a felt pad on the inside of the belt clip case that keeps the phone firmly in place. The case features a retractable kickstand that snaps into place to hold the phone upright for real-time calls or just viewing when placed on a counter or table. All of the phone's buttons are accessible through cutouts in the case. The reason I gave it a 3 for durability instead of 5 is because I haven't used it for a very long time and once the stand is locked it requires some engineering to get it back into its closed position. If you use it forcefully, it may break.
