Having worked with Linksys routers for many years, I noticed that the quality of the product dropped after Cisco acquired Linksys. I decided to try another brand of router; After first reviews of the product I bought this one. Everything was fine with the setup and I also updated the firmware to the latest version. The setup had more options than Linksys (which I'm not used to) via a web interface. My old Pre-N Linksys was constantly losing bandwidth on my Wireless-G laptops, but this product helped (with the latest firmware update). In addition, the price was right. At around $88, this dual-band option is great for my home network. If you are familiar with configuring wired and wireless networks (you know what a sublabel is and what DHCP means) then I would recommend it; Otherwise, you may find it difficult to set up.
