I had high hopes of being able to replace the screen on my iPad Mini that was accidentally cracked. The package came fairly quickly with no problems, the kit included a disassembly kit. Although the video link was frankly confusing and changed rapidly from time to time with many missing parts, I was able to peel off the cracked cover. Unfortunately, the LCD was scratched during disassembly, so the new screen was never installed. This was my first time cutting up an apple and I have to admit I wasn't ready. History Lesson: Don't be afraid to ask for help. There are professional services that can help you with screen replacement and device reassembly. This is a very delicate process involving tiny chips and magnets that can be easily damaged if not handled with the utmost care. I made a mistake, got into the repair and did not foresee such consequences. If you do, read the videos carefully and watch other repair videos to make sure you're following the procedures correctly.
