I decided to use public transportation as Virginia State Hospital will be working on their garage in the next few months. I needed a shoulder bag with easy access to my ID (made the mistake of pulling my wallet out on the street in downtown Baltimore without thinking). There are so many pluses in this bag that if I hadn't bought this color I would have used it more often. By the way, I love the color. Either way, I can wear it over a shoulder bag and over or under a coat. The front zipper holds my ID and business cards perfectly. Next is my mace LOL, towels, maybe my camera and the meds I carry with me. The top zip opens up more space than expected. I put my journal and wallet in there, as well as my keys. There is another zipper on the back. My meds make my mouth very dry so I need water all the time. This pocket is like a little pouch on both sides that you can put a water bottle in and that helps me a lot. Yes, and the material is thicker than some describe - it's nylon, but when I spill water on it, it doesn't get wet, it just rolls off. I feel this bag meets all my needs when I switch to public transport and I don't even have to carry a lot. Also, it's harder for someone to steal it from me when it's around my body.
