About two years ago I gave up cans of Barbasol and switched to creams. First of all, if you are hesitant, I recommend refusing canned food. Once you find a good cream, I think shaving will be better than ever. shaving gel. I keep going back to the Proraso cream, although Kiehl's cream comes a close second. Proraso creams just work. I put a small amount in my palm (about a 1.5 inch strip) and rub my hands for about 45 seconds. Then I start rubbing the cream into my head until I feel the product start to dry out a bit. Then I add a few drops of water to the mixture and I'm ready to shave. I don't use foam or soap. I don't use a boar hairbrush. I only use my hands and it's fantastic.
