Review on Nitto NT421Q 215/50 R18 92V summer by Mirela Cioroianu ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

Good day to all. drove with them a few thousand km on a Volvo xc90 to the Crimea and back. The wheels are very good. They do not make noise (even in comparison with the native Conti), on a dry road 5+, moderate sidewall rigidity, but tougher than the native Conti. I note the truth that I got the Conti four-year-old "auto with hands. " over time, and Nitto became a little softer. But the first impression was after installation - the rubber is quiet and tenacious, but tougher than the Conti. And on the other hand, the feeling of valkost (for me) is gone. On a straight line, the car stands more confidently, it doesn’t heel in corners, it doesn’t “float” on bumps, like a white slab. But at the same time, the bumps became more noticeable in the cabin, even small ones. Those. handling improved, comfort on bumps deteriorated. Everything is relative. Who cares. Separately, I would like to highlight the confidence on these wheels on wet roads. According to real extreme experience - I got into an August downpour at the Alushta-Sudak passes, the tires did not fail, not a hint of demolition or insecure behavior on the "road-river". the only feature is that when it hits a deep, extended puddle at speed, the tires push the water forward. it turns out such an effect of a boat or a fountain. the first time it was a little daunting. but then you get used to it. the reaction was something like - edrit-madrit . . I don’t see the hood, everything is in the water, this is the “headlight washer . .” and . . there is no aquaplaning at all in such situations, the car is like stuck to the road. but, I caught myself thinking . . for the whole summer there were, well, a couple of times such moments. and after the first time I knew what would happen now. used to. striking in comparison with previous experience at the Toyo Versado. on that rubber, though on a different car, this was not the case. they "poked" water somewhere, so that it was not visible from the driver's seat at all when it got into large puddles. Unfortunately, there is no size for such a toy or its successor. generally switched to toyo-nitto for about 6 years. and I consider myself a lucky find. price-quality pleases every day. Good luck to everyone on the road. Safe driving, because No less is waiting for you at home.

Pros
  • technological, eye-catching tread pattern, quiet, reliable, safe.
Cons
  • the only feature is that when it hits a deep and extended puddle at speed, the tires push the water forward. it turns out a sort of effect of a boat or a fountain.
