The men's wallet is the only thing that a man carries the same every day for many years. So getting it right is a big decision. A run-down wallet will remind you it's lousy every time you reach for it. This is a REALLY good choice. The leather is very soft and requires no break-in period. The credit card slots are much deeper than any wallet I've seen and keep them secure; That means they won't fall out if you open the wallet upside down. The extra small "case" with clear plastic sleeves is detachable and frankly still unresolved for me; But I will try it. It has two compartments for storing bills, one of which even has a zipper. This is really nice as you can put a large bill or something in it and it won't be visible to others when the wallet is open. The corners of the wallet are held with rivets, the seams are white nylon and well stitched, the outside of the wallet where it folds is double leather with double stitching and rivets. VERY WELL DONE indeed. It also has two key holders which I haven't used yet. All in all, this is an impressive wallet. I found all of these Carhartt items to be top notch. I can almost promise you that if you prefer a wallet with this design, you will be very happy with it. Someone did a great job designing this wallet, it was made for a grown man. It has no frills and is a solid device. I really like this wallet. BUT it's only been a few days for me. Good luck with whatever you choose.
