First: lenses. Polarized mirrored lenses with blue color are just amazing. Polarization + specularity together seriously diffuse the glare from the southern winter sun and snowpack. I personally prefer the brown/amber shade over the gray they are. Color depth and contrast are excellent. The lens size is optimal in all directions to cover all angles of light. Second: fit. I've broken my nose a few times and the bridge of the nose is wider than most sunglasses will allow. The nose pieces are flexible enough to ensure a snug fit, but strong enough not to worry about excessive breakage when adjusting. My head is wide at the crown and these frames are great for girth. The frames stay in place without squeezing the temples while maintaining the appropriate curvature to keep the temples snug against the head behind the ears. Third: authenticity. The glasses came in a very nice black box with the RB logo (so pretty my wife took them to wear with her outfit). Inside the box was neatly folded warranty information, a neatly folded RB logo cleaning cloth tightly wrapped in cellophane and a branded case with the RB Chromance logo. The case that came with it was also very large and sturdy. The frames of the glasses bore matching model numbers and the lenses featured Ray-Ban P in italics on the upper right corner of the right lens and the CHROMANCE logo on all caps on the lower left corner of the left lens.
