This is the second type of vacuum I have had in the last few years. About half of my 2,000 square foot home has hardwood floors. This vacuum is quite quiet which made me suspect the suction power wouldn't be that strong. Why do we equate volume with suction power? Anyway, I've been using it daily for over two weeks and it takes everything I need including kitty litter and even dry cat food. You with a large vacuum cleaner, which I have for carpeted rooms two or three times a week. In my opinion, this small vacuum cleaner is not suitable for regular cleaning of carpets. It is ideal for hard surfaces and very short pile carpets. It's very light, very agile, with bright lights, and I love it. The hand block works great too. The stand is typical for this type of vacuum cleaner. It doesn't hold any excess utensils at all as they will fall off immediately if touched or even slightly moved. I keep them in a box. This is also characterized by the fact that it is difficult to install the vacuum cleaner on the stand without much effort and several attempts. Some comments just make me laugh. This is a lightweight device that is great for hard surfaces and very flat carpets/rugs. This is NOT a full-size vacuum cleaner, nor does it claim to be one. If you understand its limitations, you will probably be very happy with this great little vacuum cleaner. I should add a final thought to the three super bright LED lights to indicate that it's charging/fully charged. Why not a red light to indicate charging and then it can turn green to indicate charging. These LEDs light up the room so brightly that when they fly by at night the ISS can probably tell that my vacuum is ready to go. Not that I can keep it in a closet, I don't have it in any of my outlets.
