Review on Western Digital WD Green SATA 240 GB SATA WDS240G2G0A Solid State Drive by Kio Walker ᠌
Unattractive product, unprofitable purchase.
Everything is very bad here. I bought it for 2400. Then I bought a Samsung 860 Evo 250Gb for the same amount, and it's better. Here is a comparison on the same laptop in the same connector. The first is Samsung 860, the second is WD Green. In one parameter, Samsung is 25 times faster!
- Cheap. Works definitely better than any HDD.
- Plastic housing, heats up more than 50. The speed of reading and writing random blocks is very small. Because of this, sometimes Windows freezes for a while.
