I have previously purchased another screen protector which was paper like Revain. But it was terrible and cost a little more money than this. It is very easy to install and the screen quality has not changed much. I was skeptical because most who use these matte protectors don't see things in HD anymore, but I didn't have this problem. There is a rainbow effect on the screen, but you only see it when the screen is mostly white, but that doesn't bother me that much. I really think this is a great alternative to paper protection. Writing on the screen has become much easier (no slippery feeling). Being matte makes it easier on the eye to use on my iPad, so that's definitely a plus. Overall I recommend if you want to try paper without going broke! Disadvantages: rainbow effect, can reduce the resolution a bit. Pros: Sounds like paper, easy to write, less eye strain, no glare, touchscreen works great and very easy to install (no hassle)!
