I have attached photos of what the carpet looked like a year ago when I received it and then the areas of the carpet that now show how it has faded. I have this at the end of my bed that gets very little traffic. I'm glad I only paid $21 for this rug because the beauty is alive but wears off in a year. Please consider whether you plan to place this rug in high traffic areas or as a doormat. This carpet wears out quickly. The coloring is fading, and although I don't have much traffic, the rim is wearing away. The material is not designed to withstand the wear and tear of heavy traffic. Carpet - Lint Catcher. Bought more for decoration. If I didn't, I wouldn't be happy a year later. The brightness is gone but still nice. It's actually not that much thicker than a mouse pad, but it's a solid thickness. If I have to vacuum, it's more difficult. The detail shown is exactly what you see. Toland Homes also makes a garden flag and house flag in the same design as mine because I love birds. I would not say that this rug is easy to clean because it is made of fabric that is not easy to wash. The wiping process smudges the material and promotes fading. I hope my personal experience will help you in choosing this rug. I recommend it for its beauty, but the rug is more for decorative purposes.
