This is an affordable option although you get what you pay for. So when it comes to a good price, it goes straight to the head. Otherwise you have to know what you are getting. When it comes to measuring anglers with it, it actually does a decent job. You just have to make sure you've zeroed it exactly before using it. That may seem difficult to some. For the most part, though, it paired well with our protractors (+/- 0.5 or so). If you use it as a ruler, you have to be careful. We have used it several times to get accurate measurements for 3D printing. However, the print came out slightly wrong. We measured the print to find it at around 1mm. At first we assumed it was user error. We then took the measurements with a couple of trusty tapes to find that the ruler section was off by about 1mm. So don't plan on using this for something that absolutely needs to have a perfect measurement. Here you get what you pay for. We almost downgraded it to 3 stars but the price is so low. If only they work to ensure the printed measurements are accurate.
