Review on Wooden Train Tracks Accessories Wood Train Lifting Bridge For Railroad Tracks Fits For All Railway Tracks by Michael Caldwell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Adorable and fun on my review.

Overall happy and would recommend. See cons for possible issues though.PROSThe wooden parts seem sturdy and well made. The drawbridge has some tension to it so that the bridge stays up rather than falling as soon as child lets go of rods that wind the string and lift the bridge.PRO or CON Depending on AgeRequires some fine motor skill for turning the dials to make the bridge go up and not accidentally move/knock over the track while opening and closing the bridge because the two sides of the bridge do not create tension to hold the rest of the track in place when the bridge is up. Could be frustrating to under 3-ish.CONSThe bridge comes with 2 plastic connector pieces that are supposed to fit into the connection holes of the wood track for connecting to other wooden train track pieces. They don't fit. They are too loose and a useless choking hazard depending on the age of the child/ren playing with the track. Ultimately, they got tossed and our family already had enough variety of other train pieces to make it so the right number of connectors were available to make a full track. If you only have track pieces with an innie at one end and an outie connection at the other, you will not be able to complete a track and need to buy other connector pieces to make it work.

Pros
  • My son likes Thomas trains best. Love it more
Cons
  • The wooden surface of the bridge may get scratched or damaged over time
