Unfortunately this latch was a huge disappointment. Pros: The fingerprint sensor is decent, but that's where it ends. Cons: Auto unlock doesn't work. . This was the main reason I bought this door lock and it just doesn't work. After 2 days of testing, when I got home and the door wouldn't open, I concluded it was either a software bug or a hardware issue. Several phones tested, both have full Bluetooth location rights all day long, if you leave home go outside the geofence perimeter. The status in auto lock doesn't change too much as it should. When you get home, it should go to the Back Home option, which isn't the case. You are right in front of the door and nothing happens. The shaking function is not very reliable. Sometimes it takes two to three shakes to open the door and it's a really useless feature. Why would you shake when you're already in the app? and you can just press the unlock button. The cloud server it connects to is very slow. Even over Wi-Fi it sometimes takes 30 seconds to get app status. There is no support and the features are frankly false advertising.
