ok so it's probably my fault - a petite woman, not much over 5ft, ordered an XL for a child (women are always too long) and this costume measures about 70 inches hooded. So the crotch was almost level with my knees and the hood was about 15cm higher than it could zip up! wore it once and sent it back but it's well made and durable, reliable zippers.
