Bought one of these to help my dog with arthritis. Although he has memory foam beds throughout the house, he prefers to lie on the tiles. [sigh] Don't ask me why. I asked him and didn't answer. Just a blank stare and a slow tail wag. Especially when trying to get up. with a smooth floor is of course a challenge for him. This mat will help him grip and provide some cushioning. It may not be pretty, but it's a good thickness, easy to clean, and non-slip - at least on a clean floor. I would recommend this rug.
