My 9 month old kitten has been eating Royal Canin since he was 2 months old. A few months ago I tried to put him on Blue Buffalo Freedom but he didn't like it, he always spat it out and only ate Royal Canin. About a month ago I noticed he was losing a lot of hair (maybe it was because he was losing his cat hair and getting his adult hair) and wanted to try something grain free again. So I switched it back to Freedom BB. Oddly enough, this time he just liked it and immediately started eating! A month has passed and he is NOT PIVING (again, maybe it was the weather or he just shed his cat hair). Also, he used to get mild constipation (I call it rabbit shit) when he ate RC and feels a lot better with it now too. Overall he seems very happy with his new kibble!
