Review on TEAC CD-RW890MK2-B Home Audio CD Recorder With Bluetooth - Black by Jason Dennis

OVERLY AGGRESSIVE COPY PROTECTION SPOILS DIGITAL INPUT

Why only three stars? The digital input on this is overly sensitive and prevents me from recording digitally too often. I'm not trying to bootleg CD's, I use this in my recording studio to make quick CD's for clients. I fed it from my Waves L2 using the digital output and half the time the CD recorder won't let me record because of the copy protection.I'm ok with the sound and features on this low priced CD recorder. I have finally given up on the digital input and just use analog now. At least it records when I tell it too using the analog inputs. If I had this to do over I would have bought something else, the copy protection makes this one a no-go for me. At least it keeps working, my last Tascam CD recorder died after producing only 30 CD's. They wanted as much to fix it as this low priced recorder so I got this. The tray loading is better IMO than slot loading decks. I've had nothing but problems with slot loading disc recorders. This recorder has nice wireless remote.Good music to all!
