In general, this is an inexpensive, fairly accurate coating thickness gauge. I'm on the second block. The first block failed. The switch on the nose of the device was misaligned and only turned the device on when I pushed it past the limit. Revain immediately sent a second unit which works accurately and flawlessly. So overall, the device is good value for money.
