In the real world, this easily delivers around 10 hours of battery life thanks to the low power of AMD's 5th Gen Ryzen processors. and much more. + Surprisingly, this works well with light 1080p games. I was able to play popular games at 60+ fps + a huge plus for the included stylus. This is enough for taking notes and making light edits or drawings. It's great for learning. You can rotate the screen and read PDFs and annotate them on the go. game changer. + SSD from WD, which is one of my top three all-around hard drives. Specifically, it runs on a 256GB WDC SN530 PC with a resource of 200-400TBW. This is sufficient for most users as you have to fill up this hard drive (256 GB) every day for 5 years before it fails. This won't happen, so the boot disk is pretty reliable. Typical read and write speeds are 2400 MB/s and 950 MB/s respectively. It's a mid-range NVMe SSD, but it's still fast. Upgradability is welcome and I'd recommend anyone installing a 512GB NVMe SSD or even 1TB if they consider it a daily driver for content creation. + The price is good for the nifty features of this ultrabook. It doesn't feel like the new Dell XPS trackpads or Apple quality, but it gets the job done without having to hate using it. For gaming I would add a high DPI mouse. I would use the included pen to edit. The keyboard is above average. I'm happy with it and can type all day with the keyboard in this Flex 5. My WPM (words per minute) count was not hampered in any way. CONS: - The RAM is soldered on which means you cannot upgrade it. On the other hand, 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM is more than enough for most consumers. The screen is IPS HD 45% NTSC, which can still be used for video and photo editing in Adobe CC. It's still great for hobbyists and intermediate level content creators and gets the job done. - The screen dimming reaches a maximum of 250 nits. - No Thunderbolt 3/4 port. - The storage capacity is minimal, but can easily be increased. Overall, I recommend this to all students, especially those into content creation. This is a great laptop to consider, especially if you're on a budget and looking for a portable, reliable, and durable touchscreen Ultrabook.
